As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. To put simply, making this wall was once again, fired up by a nice scan of Carnelian's, however a string of SSW walls meant that I am lagging behind in the advance walling class, I am not making much of a breakthrough in my part, what I should have been doing, I am not, and it is time to something harder.
This wall took much out of me, first, like all else, color was the key, something was lacking, textures... ah textures, done, ok, now something is still missing, I looked through my patterns and collection of strange small little cuts of website designs and so much so, I have no idea where some of them come from and randomly, I selected one, and to find that it looked ugly...
so I try on, then, JACKPOT, it was great, the one I am using in this wall now... I dunno, it just felt right. Instinct tells me this is the one.
So I went for the rest, the body, then... terrible... colors, don't match, her eyes... the feeling the textures, removed, and redone, something has to change somewhere, and it was decided finally... voila.
This wallpaper was nothing big really, I guess it was some kinda strange determination to push out something funnily complicated when it should not be.
Ok...i am in love with this...me wants it for bg on my laptop (cause i got swordie's wall on my desktop pc!)

i like the colours, and it's especially sweet with the couple {{no i don't mean the fact that the girl has no clothes on...}}. the overall feel of the wall is nice, and it would look great on desktop ^^
Well...I must say I do like this wallpaper. Everything matches and looks really, extremely nice...not so very much the unclothed girl...but still, good job!

The background is simple bue very fitting and blends well with the image and the characters, I have to admit that making such backgrounds is hard, people always fill them with effects attempting to remove empty parts as if it were really important, so I always like to see a background that can get amazingly pretty without that bias.

I love how this wall is so simple, yet the texture is what really appeals to me. I just love the gritiness of it. I also love how it reveals just enough without exposing too much. It gives it that last little push of excellence. Great job! Keep up the awesome work!
Seems like you are going basic a bit. Well, 4chan has been know for it's pics of glory, and I even found this one pic of a certain character like right know. Anyway, you used a different approach by having the background texture. The characters are blending well with the background. It seems bad, since the background was a tad plain looking (what happen right).
