This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
In order to celebrate the first and second DVD in France and of the arrival of the summer season, I decided to make this wall.
And I wanted to also make this wall because Higurashi is on my favourite anime. (I love Rena -_-)
Technical parts:
Time : about 1 month ^^.
Layers : I really don't know, maybe 30-40.
Birds were made with a brush, and the sky is a stockphoto of helly7307-stock.
Balloon, sand and ocean was made by me, Rena and Mion are my second vector.

Very MOE moment nice outcome i really like the series and it would have been better to make an all-cast wallpaper, but, thanks to your wallpaper i can't catch my breath!!
Ahhhhhh, oh beatifull summer moments, this two girls are really cute!!, but i don't know, but your wall needs something else... don't know, but it feels something lonely just like it needs something more, and... those damn letters, some people that have read my little commentaries maybe have noticed my lack of pattience for the letters on a wallpaper, but it's just that when you are going to put letters on a wallpaper there need to be an ideal place to put them and make them seem nice, but somethimes for be in a hurry the wallpapers just seem to be incompletes.
Well, sorry if i writte some irritating words so please forgive me, but they're just details keep working on them and you'll see how a nice wallpaper turns into a very nice and maybe a "legendary" wallpaper!!.

but i would have removed the second part of the leg with a little piece of feet outside the background because it's a little bit weird and the ball is alittle alone and coming out of nowhere ...

Simple but nice vector. however the text doesn't look good and I wouldn't miss the ball either.
What I really don't like in Higurashi anime design that the hands are legs are too small compared to the body and especially the head. but that't not your fault.
Keep up the hard work.
Wallpaper looks cool and fits well to season we're now (or going as summer not yet so hot) :-)
