As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. A couple of days ago i was looking for some new scans and i came across this one.. SCAN
I instantionsly wanted to make a wall of it, the problem was that it wasn´t in color.
So the first step was to color it. After some hours of work I was done with that. Then i hade to make something of it 8)

And so here you have it

Very emotional wallpaper - good choice of scans and scene. Seems a bit too bright for me though. Try a sunset! And that text looks a bit too fun for my liking, compared to the rest of the wall. Minor points though. Very nice work!

Mmm.. I'm not such a fan of the coloring... it looks like you just applied the base colors :/ no detailed shading or such... I'm a sucker for those little details. And you didn't clean up the black smudges from the scan #(c_c)# emoticon ... the smudges make it obvious that this is a recoloration.

The font could be better, and the clouds look rather too realistic for me. Pretty good concept though. It could be stunning if pulled off properly.

A nice wallpaper but there are some problems most of which are pointed out in shigemitsubaki's comment. The yellow is a bit too primary for me and Eureka's hair could use some work (the lines aren't too smooth). Nonetheless, it's a good piece. Keep it up!
