This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Well this was done awhile back at first the wings didnt suit what I wanted to make but it became a sort of abstract look, I can do way better than this now but this was back then anyway its Nemu in the air and I added the reflection in her eyes, the ring on her finger, the feathers and the cherry blossoms, and the entire bg with a polygonal lasso tool...clouds were brushes I dont have a camera yet which hope to god I will soon :P. Anyway enjoy :)
I like this one mostly because of the blue/white background with the scan (contrasting hair, but fitting clothing). Though I think the background could certainly use more detail, it still looks nice. The city on the horizon is a priceless touch. All in all, I think it's well done, but could use a bit more detail.
Nemu chan sugoi ... i like so much this beautty wallpaper of da capo ... i like so much this background of the sky is so cool ...and this wallpaper ...this scan of nemu chan is so cute... excellent wallpaper...add too my favorites this wallpaper of da capo now
So adorable! I like this wallpaper a lot and because of the calm look and feeling the wallpaper has it makes it so beatiful ^_^. I shall add it to my favorites. Nice work!
The pic is one of the better Nemu wallpapers I've seen. I'd agree, the wing looks a bit off, but the overall composition is good.
Not really criticism, but I think it could have helped if the wing was a bit 'cofter' or 'fluffier', as it looks a bit solid, more the wing type for a heroic rather than a romantic character. Second, given the Da Capo theme, it would be nice if you could show white feathers turning into Sakura petals. That's be pretty interesting.
Wonderful wallpaper, good balance and design. The petal in the bottom left could be moved or sized smaller because it seems to draw for to it. I'm not trying to belittle you it's just that the section of the wallpaper is white and there it is out in the open. A big petal. Still it's an A+ wallpaper to me.
The wings are not in the right spot, I can tell. It's bothersome to notice that. >.< Though, everything else is nice. That's the only thing with a small problem to it.

Nonetheless, this is a keeper of a wallpaper. :)
