This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Nah, I don't want new ones I need these ones to break in more. But my left thumb is really hurting right where the knuckle is >.< I guess I have some bad habits on my left hand.
Well its my second attemp to upload a wall here so i could join to community atleast a bit. my first attemp failed due to incorect signature on wall which was saying "nez" not "anotherone", too lazy to explain the detail but i hope this one will go sucesfuly, and yes i better known as nez not anotherone >_>
stricktly about wallpaper: it is my lil represantation of what happening on my steer right now, temperature is "very" hot, and i think my eyes are blured with orange color so thats it :P
The extraction of the scan is pretty good as far as I can tell. But the scan has more muted colors than your background elements. As a result your background has kinda drowned out the foreground. Tone down the colors to match you scan and it would work out better.
Weell the Bg its great slo the image but to me the image dont matc h at all with the wall... why dont try a different one... maybe using color on ti... a yelow or a dark green one.. so it can be mixed with the Bg and contrast with it at the same time..... also the image looks bit graini.. try using some blur on it so it looks better but the concept pretty good... just try the color idea it might help...
hope i can help ... but its going to be a great wall..

Looks great to me, though i personally really hate the arrow and the text, it's just preference on my part. so no worries, it looks complete and presentable.
and yeah AP has a lot of rules doesn't it? but at least everything is always very organized and standards are high. happy community-involvement-wallpaper-making XD
For me it's good but far away from perfect...
Some parts could have a better extraction, the colors still look less saturated than the background, the font only match with the background but not with the character.
You have orange all over but no blue to go with the water splashes...
In the submitted version, you made the wall and the characters darker. But then you've lost some details of hairs... Which is a little sad. You could play a little more with gamma and contrast to try to have a better look of saturation for the colors but with keeping the details...
I also think you put a little too much brushes in the background... Or at least too much circles. You have a summer scan with water splashing around your characters. Why not try to add more wavy brushes instead of the round ones?
