This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Ok then ^^
An FMA wall! wow... so many out there ^^... anyway when i saw these two scan by Urotsukidouji (here at animepaper ^^), i cannot resist :P
I think is my most complicate wall (altrought is quite plain). I used about everything ^^.
The lighting is made with the pencil tool (yeah, pencil tool ^^) without a tablet, so all with a mouse :P. For this reason i've created a LOT of layers (about 50 for the lighting).
Then the sky... ah... the sky.... 30 layers for it... you know, i don't start from the beginning with the lighting idea, so i've tried a LOT of skies style -_-', but in the end this is the result :P
Then the rain... not complicated, just one layer. Then a layers with the lighting in the background. The Alchemist symbol is taken from a like that i found in one of the user page here at animepaper, BUT i dont remember who is this user -_-', so if you're the one, just wrote in the comments or send me a message and i'll edit this part :P.
Oh yeah.. the scans ^^. No much work on them (they were already cleaned), just extraction work and some reconstruction lines.
ok, i think is all ^^
Layers: about 89-90
Time: 6 hours (without any pause, and yeah.. i'm a bit tired ^^)
Hope you like it :)
WOW you really did a great job with the background effects...the blue and red colors are awesome...but 6 hours O_O damn thats a long time for a wall...but very impressive ^ ^ !

That's so neat looking..I love the mood of it. :) Background is rather chaotic, but it's lovely and definately suits the stock..adding this to favorites!
