"Running over stars! Kyon being dragged into Haruhi's universe!" is the subject of the current work I made because I loved the anime since I watched the tv opening, and specifically when I saw Haruhi running over stars in that crazy and fabulous animation!! Obviously I liked the story later... but that opening... worth 100 empires!!
To me, it was a really cool theme for a wallpaper. Though I need more skill with Photoshop, the whole background was vectored based on that screencaps. Took me several days to finish it, but I like the result ^_^ ... I tried to follow the original op style... filling it with SOS-dan logo, butterflies, ray of lights, daisy flowers, etc... However, due to it was a bit "recharged" (not sure if it's right said :/), I made the star background more opace. I also had to vector Kyon and Haruhi because the scan quality was bad. Edit/2: I just add another version of the same wall... I could make a thousand of different versions of this wall jajaj, but I just wanted to share a more simple version in which you can see clearer the star background work. For those who likes more simple walls, I just left Haruhi and Kyon with the star background.
Hey! Reminds me of the series opening, I wonder why #_#. The wall is pretty harsh on the eyes, a trait I usually don't like in my wallpapers, but Ill forgive you for having a cool design, I mean when I think Haruhi I don't exactly thing 'calm' either! The backdrop is actually really well done in my opinion, and objects look very well planned and placed. (Btw if you ever need an image like that vectored, you can always ask me ^_^) Well done

Well leaving that aside your comeout is a very cute and nice one!, altough the colour is a little rare and tend to confuse is just that... how to put it, well due to the weird colour you can't focuss on the nice image .
But anyone could let you be, your wallpaper is worth of praise and your hard work is always welcome, so never hesitate and keep using nice images from interesting histories and it will be easier to have a praisable workout.

as for your wall, very nice vector job, I like how the lines are of varying widths, I think it could be better though if your sig was a bit smaller (it's huge 0__0) and if there weren't any lines across the characters. They'd be nicer opaque.
