First of all congrats to all EVI and VA members who participated, All the walls are great!
The guidelines of this challenge was to communicate the relationship of the characters with the setting of a season. And it also had to use two distinct visual styles, In my case a vector and digital painting.
This is my first wall with something of a more complex nature being digitally painted, so please comment and give me some advice on it.
The vectors themselves took me two days to complete and I spent the rest of the challenge period learning how to digitally paint the tree and sakura blossoms, that took awhile...

THis is an absoluteely beautifull wallpaper. I show emotion and the spirit of love between the two characters. The cherry blossoms are absolutely beautiful. The girls kimono matches so well with the cherry blossoms... I love it very well done. Keep making beautiful wallpaper!
Wowzers! What an awesome wall! The vector is done very well, and the sakura tree is even better! Very flawless, and deserves the highest of prise in my opinion. Cute too, thats always a plus ^_^
Well, Aoi and Kaoru are in a love that is blossomming at a frightful rate and which is showing no sign of stopping, so the objective is fully fulfilled.
...But I dislike the completely virtual feel of this wallpaper. I suppose that is concomitant to employing two distinctly and unmistakably virtual visual styles. This is probably just a matter of taste though.
I really really love your vector. But I still think the trunk looks a bit blurry.

everything looks really pretty.. the scene is very sweet...
I'm still not fully satisfied with the trunk and the falling petals.. but anyway you still get points for the great effort you put on this wall...

This challenge turned out a whole bunch of good walls! This is no exception, it's wicked good. I can't get over the tree, it's amazing (because I fail at painting cherry blossoms XÞ). The vector is solidly done - this quality in just two days, that's something I couldn't hope to achieve either.
If I had to find something to nitpick, the fill on Aoi's face seems a bit blotchy, not really in agreement with the lighting in general.

Really awesome and unique perspective. The characters' vector looks great but I think the tree and the clouds need some work and more details. Anyway, you've got lots of room to improve.
I am pretty amazed by your lovely digital painted tree. If you are new with this then you do have potentials IMO.
Actually is a magnificent piece concerning the vector and the painted look compine and it captured my attention.
I am inpressed and i totally love the whole feeling.
