This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

While this wallpaper looks deceptively simple, it took me quite a few days to get it right :P (stopping in between to do the momiji wallpaper). Hopefully, those who've watched Fruits Basket remember this scene from the anime. ^___^
Took me half an hour to scan through the episode to get sufficient screencaps for this. -_- 50% of the time, I worked on the other scans, hoping to make a succession of scenes, but then after vectoring them all, I deleted them and brought up this scene. -______-;; I wish I could have figured out earlier what I wanted to do.
I kept it monochrome because I rather like the effect and it doesn't detract from the text.
I'm crossing my fingers hoping that most of you are familiar with the literary vocabulary. ^^ If not, that's okay, too. It just might not be as amusing. I guess this wallpaper is a hit or miss. ^^;
I'm actually really pleased with this though... >_>; So without further ado, I bring you Le Tragedy.
PS
For those who are inquiring about the title, yes, it was an intentional typo. ^^;; Sorry about the confusion!
Edit: Some of you felt that there was too much text, so I took the "Setting" out. >_>; I really couldn't part with the rest of it. T_T My apologies. Hopefully this is a little better.
Hahaha, I love the humor of this wall. It's so sad and pitiful, but at the same time so funny! I'm especially fond of the word tags that you threw in there to describe the picture =)
This has to be one of the most creative wallpapers I've ever seen, and so well done, too! I'm a big bookworm, so thank you for this paper. It's great... absolutely brilliant.
HAHAHA absolutely (almost) PERFECT!
i'ts really funny! i loved it!
maybe, one thing you can do is to put a white boder, to make it look like a black and white photograph! Like a criminal photo!
thanks! ^^
Ha ha! good one! the captured pic of yuki avoiding death from the grab of tohru's hand but escaped with jelly buns landin on top of him!
plus the little dictionary info sure improves the image but not the colours! good job done means well done!
I loved this episode of Fruits Bakset. :D I think keeping the colour scheme in greyscale was a good idea as opposed to colouring it. Complete cuteness. :)
That has got to be one of the cutest walls ever! all of the zodiacs are so cute in animal form but yuki really takes the cake! the grey tones work so well. nice!
Haha I remember the episode in fruits basket where that happened! Nice idea using black and white and also with adding those definitions in there. Pretty humorous wall.
This is humorous and I can appreciate it! Poor Yuki-kun, though. The vectoring is awesome and I like the monochrome. You have sound judgment because adding color would've taken away from the wallpaper and made it too busy with the text.
OMG!
THIS IS HILARIOUS! I love this part in the anime.
Anyway, I love the idea behind it... even though, as all Fruba fans know, this IS the idea... :)
The black and white makes it so... sad... as it seems it is meant to be lol.
Brilliant Job :)

Love the simplicity... cutee~~~ +fav
It's well drawn. The lines are very clear, and it's not blurry.
The concept is cool too! I like how you phrased your description like a dictionary.
It's really neat! I like it very much.
Fruits Basket is the best!
