This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Let me just start by saying that Xiaoyu is my favorite character from the Tekken series. She's just so cute and absolutely fun to play with.
About the wall...this wall is my first vector thinghie. I wasn't sure how it would turn out because I've never done this kind of wallpaper before. But given the fact that I had to color some parts of the scan (a bit of her legs and clothes) I had no choice but to make this sort of design and hide the parts that were missing. I keep seeing walls where the author says it took him/her 2 hours to do, but I can never finish a wall that quick. To this one I devoted one day...sort of...(like 6-7 hours?) That's because I edited those damn circles! And to make things worse I redid them, because initially they only had red and black and I found that they were too dark.
The name of the wall is her f,f+2,1 move (tekkenzaibatsu notation:P) and I chose it because the actual words describe her as a game character and also her personality.
On the ...err...lines? from the right I wrote some of her moves (best moves) and their tekkenzaibatsu notation...just for freaks like me :P

Great work with the vectors. I like the combination of lines, curves, and circles. The color combination appears to work with this even though it's still a bit dark.. meh, I prefer dark anyway.
This is a really cool wall! I'm not that big a fan of Tekken but you do Xiaoyu justice with this wall. The colors are perfect and I love the design you did behind her. Fantastic!

Neat idea! the directions of the lines enhance and help more define her pose. that's pretty cool. i don't know much about vectoring so all i can say is you did a good job and created a good effect

I always love them pop-culture-technic-logography designs as the background. This is one of the best I've seen so far. I never like the style personally but appreciate it when I do sight them. I like the simple lines and shape. It's always popping out at you with arrows. Its always the arrows...---> XD
Good ...Sexy Cheongsam Gal...Not only this but it really matchs background..: "RED" or "PINK". Ya ..Cute Ling Xiaoyu. Why don't you add Xiaoyu's Panda ? Don't tell me Panda don't suit with this wallpapers.

It blends so nice and pink is always a good color for Xiaoyu. I think it matches her personality and I love the picture you used. From Tekken 6, right? I cannot wait to play that game! Everyone says I look like Xiaoyu, but I don't think so! XD Anyway, I like how this is also a wide screen wallpaper, those are tough to find, thank you for making this.
