This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
It took me a long time to vector out this whole scan since there was so much detail with the hair and snakes. I wish I could have duplicated the snakes as close as possible but the detail was too much to handle for me. But I tried to add as much detail and texture to the snakes as possible by my own means. It also took me a while since there was also a lack of shadows/details of her hair/body so I had to add my own shadows to her hair and body to make it look less flat. I even create details for her eyes although that may be insignificant compared to her other assets. =]
It's titled "I'll Send You to Heaven In 5 Seconds" because that is one of the lines Mimasaka Ryou says in both anime/manga (which was pretty hot when she said it mind you).
A clever choice on the scan as it's simple and does what it was intended to do effectively. Good work. I never thought I would have much to say about Oh!Great's nude works on the Internet..., but I do like his characters.

I recently began watching air gear, and i like it so far. i actually like the sketchy feel that it has. and i'm not bothered with the way the snakes turned out; i think it flows better from her hair, and the blending is gorgeous. i just love the lines, i can't get over them! >,< great job. this is going on my favorites.

Here we have it. An Air Gear wallpaper. I couldn't help but make a wallpaper out of this scan.
