Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
I'm soo obsessed. I just finished Knockin' on Heaven's Door, and boy, it was good. This wallpaper is basically a screenshot of the climax, after Spike takes the antidote and starts to see the "butterflies". So pretty!
Anyways, this wall didn't take that long, only half an hour, and I just clone stamped + redrew some parts of the original screenshot, mainly because it wasn't big enough, and then texturized it. Pardon the offcenterness of the main characters; I couldn't think of a way to move them to the center yet still keep the original balance of the shot.
I haven't seen the movie, but even so I can see what's happening in this scene. Nice work :) Another Cowboy Bebop wall is always welcome, especially one as well-produced as this. There is still some blurriness in parts of the wall that are a bit distracting, but overall I'm liking this wall. The textures are well done, and you've captured the scene very effectively. +fav ^^
I loved the series, loved the movie and loved that scene. it is really effective with an excellent use of colour and distinct striking visuals. i would have done something more with the text in the middle, maybe say a quote from the movie and have the series title or even movie name somewhere in there as well. other than that it gets a big fat +Fav.
Magnificent work!
the petals or butterflies... they look great
the observed blur and the texture gives it that cinematic feel.
finally.. the lighting... the lighting is cool... you've got the right glow in the right places... wonderful work!!

What to say... The color is so damn great, gotta has some charisma, with perfect combination XDDD Kind of sad and haunting, a perfect match with the fiery and crimson theme. Great background, too It's just awesome and flawless ^________^

Great job!! The color concept is really awesome! I love this orange/red style! Also the scene is pretty kewl and I like the texture you used, keep it up!
Beautiful! This scene is gorgeous and the dark colors with the bits of light really make it look cool. The orange and black go well together and the text is enough that it doesn't detract from the image and rather enhances it. Awesome work!
Impressive! I've seen a few people try and do things with that butterfly scene and very few of them have pulled it off well. It's a difficult scene to do justice to and you have managed it. Congratulations! I absolutely love this wall. Thanks for sharing it! *faves*

Mr Knight in Shining Armor, could you help me? I'm looking for a thief. You see, he's stolen my heart, and I want it back.
