While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Man, I haven't made a wallpaper since...forever :| emoticon

This is after I reformated my HD, and realized I forgot to backup my photoshop brushes as well. Whatever.

It was kinda hard walling this, as I had almost forgotten how to..."photoshop" I suppose. I remembered something about textures and brushes (I quickly grabbed myself some of PaulW's stuff off DeviantArt), and messed around here and there.

Don't worry though, this is just warmup for a vector wall I'm making later :)

Even though Caster's not my fave character in Fate/Stay Night but I must say this is a pretty wallpaper, I like the colors and the scan coz it fits perfectly together, keep up the good work and thanks for sharing

Unfortunately, I know absolutely nothing about how to create wallpapers like this, so I can not compliment you on 'vectoring' and what-not. But what I *can* say is that I find this to be incredibly well done, as it convey's a type of tragic sadness through the use of muted coloring in the background. Simply put, I love it!

I'm less fond of this wall as others I've seen from the Fate Stay. Though it is appealing to me with its deeper color shades. Odds are this actually makes a better wall than most I used since there isn't too much action going on. Nice job!

Was anybody else surprised to find out that Caster was a Vulcan? Who knew? I think this picture has motion to it. Like she has just taken off her mask after accidentally burning down a school for orphan wolverines which were abandoned by their supreme leader, Big Foot.

Nice idea of using black color on the winder and the tree, they look like a shadow in the wallpaper and bring out the sad and bloodie feeling of the wallpaper >.<
The color of the cloud are nice as well, they are really fit with the theme of this wallpaper !
