The theory says all colors are egal except 3 :
White for the light, Black for darkness, and the most important of all,
the point of equilibrium of the chromatic scale, the perfect one : Red.
Red for Love, for fire and blood, Red for all the passions!

I made this wall with this vision in my mind : a dark world surrounding a white guy, like a glimmer of hope in the deep night. This guy lights up the world around him : he fights against Darkness.
The rose symbolizes the passions, which have not their plave in this fight, but which exists no matter what and makes the beauty of this world.

Well... honestly, I wanted to make a monochrome wall with the image of Allen at the beginning of Chap from the 2° manga. The first time I saw this image, I knew I had to wall it. It appears that I was not the only one... but I used a scan, not a screenshot as most of wallers who have walled this image.
Originally, Allen wear a long coat, not a cape, but to give the impression of presence in the wall, I had to change his coat to a cape.
On the original image, the hand was out of proportion, so I resized it. The original rose was weird too.
I redraw it entirely with a photography as base. The most difficult and enjoying part was to color it :
I wanted to try anolibb's style (I think I've succeed ), so here is the result.
I didn't draw all the clothes details because with too much details, I couldn't have used all the forms on Allen's cape (and because of laziness too, I must admit ).

Perhaps some mistakes remains since I spent only 6 hours on it, so don't hesitate to tell me.
It was my first widescreen wall, and I'm proud of the result. I guess I will not be able to wall anymore until september 2008, so please enjoy this one!
