I suppose the wallpaper was made for an attempt at making something Carnelian related, swords are nice, so I decided to use this one for the background.

I like it lots, probably because it has been sometime since I walled grunge with a spice of really dark and defeated feel since 21 Days of Sodomy and Even Heroines Fall Sometimes. This wall would be in third to succession of using the same idea.

The blood splatter was from Resurgere, I added a touch of it myself. Blood smeared on her gashing wound was done manually, probably doesn't look all that good, but heck, if you like grunge, you should like this. I am open to ideas on how to improve the blood splatter. I want to avoid textures on her smooth skin to give the dusty feel, but I guess this makes the girl looks so clean and smooth now eh? Anyhow, this wall is on my desktop now, one can say I enjoy it a lot.

I suppose the serenity feeling about it can be seen as being brought about the feeling of surviving a battle, having already won, even with a few wounds, one can rest knowing that you have suceeded in getting away, or won the battle, and know that your wounds are small, you may heal soon enough...
