Most of the AIR walls I've seen seem to be light and fluffy with plenty of clouds, flowers, and other cheerful things; I figured why not put a 'twist' on that idea and do a grunge wallpaper instead. The wall itself took a while to make, particularly getting the color-balance right and getting all the feathers set how I like them (not to mention extracting the character image was a complete pain). Overall, I think it turned out pretty well, enjoy.

Oh, and big thanks to Kalico and nat for their help.

Oh man...this is really elegant. The golden hue mixes nicely with the black grunge behind to give this rich elegant feel to the whole viewing experience. And the sunbeams shining down on Misuzu is really a nifty touch.

The amount of feathers is just right. Not too overwhelmingly many and not to sparsely littered around. Feather placement is well chosen too. I like!!

Good job, the golden colors on this wall are great. The hue on this wall really make it rich & elegant as Dias said, great job on the sunbeams and feathers too.

This is most definitley a nice change of pace from what we've been seeing so far, so kudos to you for taking the path less traveled by...My favorite thing in this wall I think is the way the beams of light look as they're pouring over her...they create a very nice balance to the darker backdrop, and compliment the glowing feathers very well. This is a beautiful piece.

Looks good! I still think there should be more variation in the size and the types of feathers if you're going to have that many, but overall great colors and a beautiful idea ^^

Wow.

Your walls never fail to impress me. Everything fits in, and the grunge is done really well. I can see why extracting was a pain, with that many hair strands...

The only things I don't like is the yellow glow around the feathers (and text) when it's overlapping the character.

Awesome wall. Another favourite!

WOw, nicely done! I really like your choice of colors and the use of the brush. Wish I could make a wallpaper that good. Personally, I kind of like the glowing feature around the feathers :P

This is a surprising wallpaper (as you mentioned, AIR wallpapers tend to be rather sunny) but I think it's also very evocative and helps show another side of the anime. Great work.
