This wallpaper gives us a perfect example of how a simple manga scan can be turned into a beautiful vector. Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.
Great, now im going psycho... it may be possible ive been spending a few hours searching for a scan that i think i saw but truly never existed... it was all in my head =.=;
It looks like you just used some filters and such to make it look like a vectored wall paper. I love you idea and if you vectored it I think you wallpaper would be very successful. Lots of creativity, I would however loose all the text in the top corner it draws away from the image to much. If you need help learning how to vector I can help you out, its pretty simple once you get the hang of it.
This caught my eye from the get go, its very artistic and the colors blend beautifully. I don't think that theres anything I could say that would help it in any way. I really like this one! Adding it to my favorites~!
I can't really see anything except for a ragged highlight on the character's face. I suggest you limit your effects (cutout filter? .__.' ), as it is it's a bit too chaotic for most people's desktops.
also, I'm not such a fan of blocks of text on wallpapers. how about limiting it to just a few lines of text?
