As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring.     Not a bad composition, but it looks like CC was just placed on some abstract shapes.
    Try matching the background's perspective with the scan. Also, improve the scan extraction. It's fairly well done but some places need more work. If you succeed I'm sure this will get accepted.

    I think placing her on a pizza background would make it better... with a comedic effect too! In the anime, she loves pizza, and that longing look in her eyes when looking at 'pizza' that she sits on will be an obvious reference...

    Filter>Render>Clouds =.=

    try looking for tutorials on Matrix-style text like in this wall, then Edit>Transform>Perspective, might look better. (more like the Geass effect lol X3)

    ah, btw, the extraction needs some work, a few bits of her hair are missing... Feathering everything by 1px will also get rid of jagged edges.
