This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Well here it is... the final version of my first wall. I've decided to remove the fairy dust thing I had before because I just wanted a clean wallpaper and so thought I'll submit it with out it. But I'll be adding more version of it once it's accepted for those who thought it looked better. Thanks for your help guys and comments are always appreciated.
Hi there! I really love this wall, I don't remember if I commented on it before though... Well, I'd say just to change the font, because it doesn't really match the image that well. Good luck! It's looking really nice! ^_^
As it stands you've not exactly added to the image as it was originally. The only addition as such is the textual elements. As such this falls into the category of vectored screenshot + simple background = wall which is not something that will be accepted.
Compositionally your work is strong however the execution is let down by your use of the low res image to add texture and to fill the details of your vector in. The textual image however does better demonstrate your ability and by extending that ability to more of the image, the image as a whole will improve.
