While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

That aside, this wallpaper is a combination of different techniques, such as vectoring, brushes, shapes and textures. I tried to emphasize that indeed Light is the God of the Old World, by trying to replicate an "old world effect" into this wallpaper. Well I do hope that it is effective in attaining that objective

Wuow~ Cool BG! I like how it looks grungy, but shiny and clean, hehe. I also really like the "Old World" colors, haha, but is he really the god of he Old World (the world before the explorations of Columbus?)...? Well I've barely started the series so I wouldn't know >_>.
I wonder if Light would match the BG more if he was vectored? Oh, I think the text is... not detailed enough for the rest of the wallpaper... or something like that XO. But very nice job on this wallpaper! Keep 'em coming, lol.
Very pretty this wallpaper, the image was placed well and the colors of it are perfect, I already had looked for to wallpaper thus so legal, but never I had found something so legal, must congratulate the work and only say that he always continues thus! By the way, he would not like to give tips of as I I could make wallpapers thus? ^^ rsrsrsrs
Awesomely done, I especially like how well you've matched the 'Kira color'. i.e. that red that we all came to know and love during the course of the series.
