This wall was actually completed over a month ago for the Battleground competition in povism. The task was to create a wallpaper with the idea of performing music (or something like that...it's been so long honestly don't remember). The judging was taking too long, so we decided to forfeit so we could share them and upload them throughout. SO, congrats evi on your win. can't wait to see your walls :D
The wall was a screenshot from one of the opening themes of Nana. I love nana, and it was about time i made a wall for it. Basically, it's the blackstones in concert. I didn't want to make it too overly realistic looking. I find that in concerts, it's how the performers make the audience feel, not how they look that counts, so the wall is supposed to describe how nana feels on stage more than anything else. it's not a perfect wall. There are a bunch of things I'd like to go back and fix, but i thin it's alright.

Hopefully you already know how I feel about this wallpaper, but I'll repeat it for the masses. It's utterly fantastic, I can tell how hard you worked re-drawing all the characters, the mike stands, ect. The overlayed text along the bottom works great in conjunction with the silhouette of the crowd.
Still, my favorite part is the concrete textured background and the red colored overlays and gradients along with the lotus petals. Great job!

This kind of screencap must've been tough to remake! Yet the lighting and the whole scene is really well done! I think the flower kinda gets in the way of the rock concert feel, but it's her boyfriend's flower or something, eh? Symbolism is neat.
It looks like there will be many wallpapers with the performing music theme coming out lol. Anticipating them kinda makes me feel nervous.
Nana is one of my fav anime^^, so thank you for making this wall.
Secondly i want to point out the wonderful job you did with the lights and shadows. It is these exact lighting effects that show all the energy of the main character and the audience.
Indeed it is a very well thought and designed wallpaper and it surely deserves more attention.

Pretty awesome wall. You captured the feel of a grunge like concert extremely well. The textures and people's silhouettes are awesome. My only crit would be the flower brush because it draws me away from the main piece.
I'm thinking of just saying our battle never existed, because we had one person not finish a project despite the extension... I figured it would be a close battle but I had a feeling that the odds would be in your favor. For CO to outright forfeit surprised me. (I just want to see scores even if nothing happened) Happy walling in the future and great job as always (EVI will be posting walls shortly as well)
