This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Hi everyone, It's been along time since my last wallpaper...
Anyway here's a wall using Nao Tukiji's artwork. It's a pretty simple wall. The scan I used is here. Thanks to Saikusa for the beautiful scan. I just feel like playing with the colors without adding too much stuff on it, but I dunno... Anyway it ended up like this, I personally like how it is because I love soft tones. There are other versions with bolder background colors for those who thinks the colors I used on the gallery version too washed out (In case you're interested)
Beautiful wallpaper!! LOVE THE COLOR COMBINATION!! and also the pattern..very artistic and creative..i just really love the color...well done!! i have nothing to complain!
I like the gallery version also (along with the different versions ) it dosen't look to washed out to me. overall you did a very good job with the layout and the composition. keep up the good work -cheers
I also really love the swirls around the main bubble of the wallpaper. The pinks and greens look really amazing together. You did a great job with this wallpaper and I'm going to add it to my favorites!
I like the black and white version better because it shows the contrast of using a faded scan better with the modish and stark black. But all in all, it's not a bad wallpaper. The text seems a bit confusing though. ^_^'
Thanks for turning my scans into beautiful wallpapers!! I only found out today that the name of this image is Mounted Parade Play (or at least the translation from the Japanese title means that).
It's a beautiful & fun wall! I wish I could make smething like this, but I don't have he imagination :)
This one has this super super vintage circus poster feel to it!
aahhhhh gabychan... nice work!!
hmm... i think you're really good at drawing swirls... they're so nicely made and they don't look out of proportion either.. they just flow.
unless you used a brush!

It's nice to know there's a black version of the background. :)
