This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
This is another wall featuring Nao Tukiji's artwork. I really liked the scan so I decided to make a wall out of it. Thank you so much to Saikusa for the scan ^_^
Anyways it's another textured wallpaper. I wanted it to look liken an ancient painting (thus the title... I don't have any idea for the title, so what the heck...)
I use pen tool in Photoshop 7.0 to extract the scan (it leaves me with a neck pain)
Took 7 hours to finish it, mostly for extracting.
Hope you guys like it
I love the colors in this wallpaper. It almost looks like an ancient scroll painting. I think you did a great job with this wallpaper and I'm going to add it to my favorites. Again, nicely done.

Really, really nice work! I like this piece very much! I like the "toned down" effect you have chose, it gives the pic a pretty touch and leaves me with a nice feeling ^^ +fav
Truly beautiful
perfect design
looking at the scan, you really improved it a lot
wouldnt have thought that it had this much potential
but why keepin the chara so bumpy and rugged?
oh well, the scenery is just too lovely to let the chara bother me...
Gorgeous~ I like the colors of the original scan more, but the ancient-painting-concept works well too. Nice use of textures, though I think it looks more like a stone carving than a painting. Not that that's a bad thing, stone carvings are an interesting form of art. Anyway, good work on this :)
Wow this is very pleasing to my eyes =)
I think the upper left corner looks a bit plain
it has no depth to contrast the up-close plant thingies
but as a whole I like it =)
