This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
I've found this scan here and for the first look I fell in love with it. Maybe the biggest problem was to decide which part of the scan should I work with. Because of the huge resolution and too much detailed scan I thought the whole picture wouldn't look good.
So I've cut out half of the body and half of the tree. Then, there was a lot of cleaning, I added more of the hair and smoothed the robe, I've also changed the color of the armor, because I've found this silver is better fitting the wall.
In the original pic, there was an old and dead branch, which looked like a wing or something, so that's where the idea of the two wings of darkness came out.

i like the fact that not so much red is present for this trinity blood wall.

Wow, it's one of the greatest walls I've seen featuring Cain from Trinity Blood. I had never seen that intensity of red in the monitor i'm using right now, so it demonstrates your greatness even more.
You used the brushes and the colors in a very clever way, and I have to say that the text is fitting perfectly with what you've done with this wall. +fav
OMG... you used the Equilibrium poem (I mean the poem that made Equilibrium remarkable for me ^^). I love that poem.

Well Selen, you already know how i feel about the wall. There is nothing that needs saying to the wall actually. It speaks for itself. It's a really great wall. The effect of the wall is so beautiful and magnificent, i can't describe it in words, really!
Although i'm no Cain admirer or a fan of his, mind you. I believe that Abel is a million times better than Cain :P :P :P
But still, the wall is amazing.
I think this wall should go to the top rated walls. A definite fav from me. I'd fav it again and again if i could!!

Overall a great WP. I just don't understand what roses have to do with taking away the light (lol). But its probably my simple-minded line of thought that isn't able to comprehend it.
