This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
First submission! ><
I was hunting for scans the other day and came across this beautiful scan of Asta from Trinity Blood so I decided to make a wallpaper out of it.
Anyways, first I extracted the picture of Asta then cleaned it. The I went to SXC to look for a suitable photo. Used a lot of filters and layers that it slowed down my comp ==; Adjusting the lighting was the worst part to do. This wallpaper took me 4 hours to finish. Had a few friends to help comment on the wallpaper ^^; Had the texturizer filter on it to give it an "old" feel.
What I wanted on this wallpaper, is the feeling of losing something. For example, that city is in ruins and so she leaves but that place contains a lot of memories, happy and sad ones. But she has no choice but to leave it. Or anything that works for you.

Very nice first submission =)
I think you did a wonderful job of getting the overall feeling of losing something/something.
I think it would be better if your light source were a bit brighter, or you added some light streams or a moon where you have the lens flare at the top right corner. Also, the border kind of bugs me.. but that might just be me x.o
Whee! About time you did a wall. XD Gorgeous scan. I like the way you did the bg, though I think there's too much smoke/cloud in the wallpaper. I prefer Asta to be clean, rather than being covered in the cloud. ^^ But eh, love the lighting. Nice one.
Hiya!! this wallpaper is cool besides from the kinda darker colours"
I think it matches perfectly with the standar picture. and of course the title as well!
I might just be arround sometimes.. this is not my account though! I like bodering my old brother XD even if he doesn't get mad at me..(wich could be fix somehow..) ¬¬ did I mention he is old!? xD
he will some day!
neway! great wallpaper" I personaly liked your wallpaper.
awesome n_n
Ummmmmmm.....ok.....maybe you should not put the girls face on the background but the whole body instead..so it looks like shes in front of the house...anyway this wallpaper is very unique.

Really beautiful wallpaper, nice and calm. With neutral colours too... Green.
But again, I liked nearly all Adhumi Tohru's creation. A really well done wallpaper,
though I think you need some fixing on the forest just on the top of the hand.
I think it is better that way. Good job!
Okay, I am in love with this wallpaper! Out of every single one on the page, yours was the one that first caught my attention! For a first submission? Brilliant! I think you succeeded in putting across the vision you had, and that is something that not very many can pull off so perfectly! It goes without saying that this will be added as one of my favorites! Thank you for your hard work! It is very much appreciated!

I knew I would be sad
You always made me smile and feel glad
You meant everything to me
You were like a secret key
Opening the door to all of my dreams
This is why I say to you...
Love the texture effects and the clouds and gloom stuff, great job on the background and everything

nice work!
What a dark old way to stay the same
As it enters through your breathing, close your eyes and feel them turn it grey...
