After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
Authemis, I've been in a school, in a classroom, that has guys (and no girl student) for about 5 years. So, whatever it is, may not surprize me. TheReject, where were you for sometime?

alrighty then, lets get down to business, I've been working on this wall for over 5 days, a lot of it was just staring at it in different angels and thinking of things to add and remove, I used a bunch of textures as well as a layer of grunge to add that "old style painting" I wanted, and some clouds to give off a bit of a mystical feel...and I sorta got what I wanted. This is very different from my usual style of walling, since I had to do many things that I usually try to avoid, like..re-cging and vectoring (both very tedious things to do), part of the scan was cut off..so I had to recreate that and create a suiting background, ALSO; This will be my entry to the W.A.R contest, so wish me good luck ^.^

well, the theme for this wall was "Infatuation", and I think that femme fatale is the perfect title for this wall which fits right under Infatuation. Femme Fatale is a woman who uses her beauty to attract men and literally lead them into dnagerous situations and foolish actions out of a passsion that is not returned.

Ah, I love anything connected to Nana. Love this wall by itself too - nice concept and seamless blending of background with re-worked scan. I like the washed out stoney effect of the background (Yazawa Ai san does that too with her Nana backgrounds!). I'm glad someone used this pic of Hachi, I think she looks very confident and sexy here: une femme fatale indeed. The use of other Nana pics in the frames on the wall is a brilliant detail - I like that very much in particular. Also like how the roses on top of the bedside table are highlighted in bright pink to help them be noticed. The only thing that bugs is the text - it stands out a bit too much I think...maybe have it in a colour closer to the colour of the background. Otherwise it's very well done.
The pink still kills my eyes XDXDXD Seriously, everything is extremely well organized and drawn, I don't get why you used pink =( The colour of the text works fine, just that the girl is +_+ I can't stress more than to change the contrast! I love everything EXCEPT the pink T_T agh...bleh, half a fave =X
Very unique and creative. I think Ai Yazawa herself has used a similar concept before: Placing her characters on a photographic background I mean. It sort of creates a strange atmosphere that doesn't seem to make sense or work together, but I guess that's also what makes it interesting. Agreed with other people, that the pink is really bright and shocking. Not my own preference for colours but it does give it that kick and adds to the feminine theme.
Well, that's really beautiful. The colours compliment each other well and definately suit the character. The effects in the background are lovely and the explosion behind her is perfect. Lovely work. :)
