This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
I know I have made a vital error with Haku in a Previous wall, but now I know what I'm doing.
Anyway the Idea is to catch a moment with haku relating to his troubled childhood

I've used a scan from the AP Gallery for this wall I chose this one for it's emotional expression of sorrow/ despair.
Background
The Trees are Made with Brushes, and the background I drew to look like feint mountains in the background
Foreground
The Snow was made with assorted sized and strengthed Photoshop brushes.
and the mist was made with wet Media brushes stock from Photoshop
Personally I think it looks great hope you all do too
Beautiful but simple...ummmmmmm..what else can i say..haku looks lonely here so you should add zabuza...and hes too close why dont you make it a bit far away...overall=empty+simple+nice...

Aw, you didn't try masking the mist near the top like I suggested in SZ. I still think the mist is too uniform and you should have more details of his face show through.
The background is looking good, though the scenery could be showed stronger, because it's a bit faint. The character is looking good, she fits to the background well. A short text would be good, nice wallpaper.
Very nice,I think the added snow falling is a Nice Touch...for the characther Haku...Haku was as pure as Snow and just by looking at this single wallpaper...you can really see that..Its a shame Haku had to DIE..he was one of my favorite characthers...that Devotion,determination,and Love he gave to zabuza..was very Admirable..and for that he shall never be forgotten...
Note:Iam well aware its an anime...but haku deserves a few

the trees are done well and the BG is well blended.
the snow is a little blurry but the overall focus Matches the BG and the Fog-like shading in the Foreground.
It seems really a sad wallpaper but I love it for this. Haku's scan is good and the background too. Also the way the characters fit the background is ok.
This is so nice! I love how delicate the feeling of it is. I've been looking for good wallpapers for my computer- it's widescreen, so most wallpapers aren't the right dimensions- but this is is perfect. :) I wish that Kishimoto hadn't killed Haku off... He was so adorable...
It's really beautiful...and Haku is one of my favourite characters in Naruto...
And I love the background very much...especially the trees...it looks great...
By the way, I do feel a little sad looking at this wall o.o Pity Haku died...sobz
