While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

OMG u_u" this wallpaper tooks alot of weeks u_u"

The scan it's self was REALLY bad quality and with alot .. no! i mean ALOT of noise >_<" .. so i took it and i extracted the couple and then i covered that noisy noise!! and then i used a little blurry filter just to make it blend to the BG.
After that i started to make the BG , when i saw the scan i thought of a night scene cuz it's fit alot with the scan , so i made the night scene with so MANY brushes u_u" ... the stars , moon , clouds , sea and everything in the BG are brushes from these two amazing brushes sites : www.brusheezy.com & www.deviantart.com
Then i added One texture from DA too n_n" ... Finally i changed the colors.
PS: This wall has been rejected 5 times >_<" so i really tried my best this time to fix my mistakes and i really hope you'll appreciate my work u_u" ...

The background is awesomly done, I love the hole design of it.
My the planet is really outstanding and works perfect with the hole wall.
I love it how arranged everything in this wall. The starry sky and the clouds around the planet are gorgeous done. The glow works really good and gives the wall a really special feeling.
The scan itself was in really bad condition as I can see it.
Great work on the cleaning and extraction. It must have been really hard.
The textures are also really nice ^__^
Overall a fantastic piece of art. I love it a lot and it goes straight to my favs.

Hmm, looks quite simple from thumbnail view, but once I fullviewed the wall it was just fine, not too many things here and there. And I also rarely get to see Train in such a sad mood haha.
BTW, you might wanna put some grass sticking out of the water, it does look like Train is standing in the middle of the ocean, or is floating, which definitely doesn't agree with the laws of physics in this world~~ Otherwise excellent work!

The only things are that I think the branches on either side of the wall are a bit random... they come out of nowhere... anyways, other than that, I think you should add more of the glowy/fireflies around the middle of the scan.

Congratulations on finally having it accepted! It's good of you not to give up ^_^.
The background is quite pretty and adds to the sadness of the characters, haha. I see that the original scan is quite bad, which would probably the major reasons for the rejections. Did you add some texture to them? I think that might make them look worse. Because right now their skin kind of look monster-like. You should really look into vectoring them or something so that this wallpaper can look so much better! The bad scan is taking too much away right now! You have a nice romantic scene.
This wallpaper could be just perfect.
i mean you did all this hard job on the chars but the background is kinda empty and not really matching the concept.
also a lake might be a better place for them or a beach cause now its kinda weird.
dont know maybe its just me.
i still like it though cause of its colors!
