This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

A wall i made with a character from "Angelic serenade" series!!
Since the character wears clothes that makes me think of the "desert", i decided to make a B.G about "desert"!
I used some textures from Aethereality.net and some brushes from Deviantart
What do you think about the "sand"? Is it better if it's a "regular line" instead of having some parts "up an down"?
The sand was made with a texture i arranged (because it was too small,..)
Comments and suggestions on how to improve it are welcome^^
One thing stands out. The "white/bright streak" that goes down her right arm, which is our left side in terms of the image section, is too bright... the picture is sun-set dark... that brightness is not explained by any lightsource... obvious light source. See if you can tone down the white edges or turn up the colors and brightness of the background orange and stars/particles... or something else... see if you can address the issue I just pointed out.
The background is very well done, and extraction of the girl is also perfect.
Just two things:
I would recommend to remove the black mountains, they just don't fit the wall. Maybe you can try to replace them or make them more detailed.
And the girl's colors are a bit low, try to improve the scan and then maybe add some light effects on her hair or something. Now it's too much seen she was moved on some background, not that she IS in some background.

To the mountains, I think they are just too dark when everything around is quite light.
So, maybe there could be seen a road across the mountains or something, because why are they so black when all around is seen clearly?
Maybe, you can make the sky darker, more blue color and let the sand glimmer in the light from stars. Yellow and blue go well together.
If you decide so, I would make the rim of her robe in very similar color as the sky, to match them.
And perhaps you can make the desert( I suppose it's a desert) a bit different from the sky, so again I mean to make the sky darker.
But your concept is good so far, just keep working on that.
PS: I don't know Chrisato Naruse, but it's normal she has two-colored eyes?

This looks good, but the scan of thegirl looks dark, it doesn't suit the wallpaper at all... =/
I don't know, I think a twilight effect could be added to the background, with golden textures and effects and then, it would be better. Anyway, this looks pretty good, keep up the good work! ^_^~

Just two things:
