This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
My first wall, I know it's not the best (or that good, really) but I've really wanted to try to make one. Thanks to Chonrad and Clarings for their comments and suggestions. I'll make sure to use them in the future. :)
Also note that this is my first time submiting a wallpaper here, so if I screwed something up, please tell me. Thank you.
Ahhh text looks better...
sorry i couldn't help you more.. cause the wallpaper doesn't appear complete if you put it on the post thing as an image, next time put only a link to it..
u did a nice job on it, it's a good wall for a 1st submission.. my only complain is the stock you choose as background and the transparent face of naoto bellow the title.. if you get rid of the face and do some manipulation on the stock.. this would look much better..
Anyway the color choise is good.. and things blend pretty well...
keep up!

It's Nice Wallpaper.
The Heroine in This Wallpaper is Very Cool and Impressive.
I Think She Has Her Own Striong Individuality and Personality.
Black-and-White Colors and Simple Concept are Very Impressive.
They are Well-Match for Her Feelings and Atmosphere.
Butterflies in the Background and Their Own Positions are Perfect and Stable.
Blendings in Her Skin are Wonderful Itself.
I Think They are Attractive, not Sexy Points in This Wallpaper.
Thanks for Your Good Work.
Hmm... I don't know but, it surely catch my attention and I praise you for that. Maybe because of the scan... she's beautiful . Ehem! anyway, I should really praise you for the nice background. Even you just use simple colors it turns out to be great. Good job!
Heya, heres some constructive comment from me, as said by clarings im also not so fond of the overlay transparent face duplicate used. and maybe next time try a less static/spacial custom background. maybe a city would have fitted more and some extra stuff.
remains a good wallpaper to start off with and a good basic to see further stuff that you might make. good luck and good start

Good work here. I really like it. You've done a good job. I'm sure that you'll be making an even cooler wallpaper next time you submit something. Feel free to bend my ear about any feedback. Anywho, I'm going to go ahead and download it, even though I don't know the series, cause I Do like how you did this one. :)
Subtle and elegant, Excellent.

p.s. Wish me luck on my own first go here. I have a few ideas, I just want to try to find the tutorials on extractions first. :)
Your wallpaper is nice but it could have been better. I don't like the background you used and the font for Naoko. Still, the girl is very nice and it is good to see a wall with her.
Hope to see other walls from you, especially if it's with Naoko :P
Thanks a lot!
NB : A higher resolution would have definitely been better!
