This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
How should I start this….hmmm how about “College is killing me” -_- Yeah it took 3 weeks to make this 0_o I cant work that way T_T Oh well guess I should stop complaining now :/
Anyway! Yeah this is another experimental wall for me I had no real idea what I was doing xD I don’t normally make collage style walls…in fact I never have >.> I just was hit by the idea of using cards one day and new that Kino would work perfectly for it. So I gave it a try. The theme of the wall changed from when I started. Originally I just wanted to do a poker table and make it look like a game was in progress, but it changed and for the best I think. Hmm so yeah I made it into a dark and bloody wall something else I have never done 0_o this wall is a bunch of firsts for me. I really need to break away from scenic style walls more often. Hmm I cant think of what else to say :/ Oh yeah the gun is supposed to be splattered with blood. Um so anyway, I hope you all like it!
Oh and remember violence is not the answer! XD
Soon to be at pixelatedgraffiti.tk with more resolutions.
Great concept. Lots of fun little details in this wall. I love the texture of the cards - their shadows give them a nice three-dimensionality, and I like how the edges are slightly roughened. Also, is that megane-Kino on the diamond! :D The dice are also very realistic - I can practially feel the ivory (though I wish more of the sides were visible). And love the writing on the paper! Is that yours? ;) Nice wood grain too.
Now, I'm not expert on what Persuaders should look like (although I do like the little scratches on the...um...part of the gun with...scratches on it ^^;), but I finally did figure out what was bothering me about it...with such a shiny gun barrel, shouldn't a tiny bit of the table/cards/etcetuary be reflected in it? Still, that might be a little more detail than a wallpaper is worth. Oh, and for some reason, I think the blood on the cards should be darker - I'm expecting it to pool, I guess, like they might on modern shiny cards, but these do look a bit timeworn so I suppose some soak-in would occur. Anyway, good wall, add to favorites, add to hard drive, so forth.
Using my favorite anime also helps. ;D
Great wallpapers. yeah I know college can be real annoying but if you can make stuff like that just by messing around and had know real plan for it man that is skill and this shows you put the work in to make it's best.
This wallpaper is very nicely done. It has a gory, yet cheerful type of wallpaper. Very great combination of different colors. Very great textures added to the wood and blood. The gun looks quite realastic at first glance. Keep up this work and effort, WhiteBlaze!
Wow! Great wallpaper. The blood looks like real. But somehow I prefer the gun to be more shadowy, since it doesn't seem connect with the table below. Still, I LOVE IT (a fav!)
I didn't see this anime yet but this wall is marvellous. I like "smart" pictures - I don't have to think much to make up a whole story of the little details hidden there. Very nice work indeed.
WOW, the revolver against the background of the blood, and the cards and the dice look so great. it makes me think of an assassin's table, where the figures on the cards are the next target. to be honest though, i really don't like the text in that place though. it looks like it was placed in a bad location...
Very excellent wall. As all your other walls. I particularly like the dice and the gun. And of course the blood splatter adds touch and just makes it look even better. Nice job.
Well, I have to be honest that I'm actually scared looking at this wall. It's pretty, yes, but it's also quite violent. I'm aware of the violence in Kino no Tabi, but still... this wall makes it look more like Hellsing.
Of course, that doesn't mean that this wall isn't good; heck, I'm gonna use it as my desktop wall. Now, if only the author could tell me what he uses as the texture for the playing cards... *hint, hint*
