This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
This is a rare wallpaper coming from Ayane since it's textless! I was pretty much just messing around with Photoshop for MeteorCloud's contest (which ended quite a while back). I didn't have anything in mind but I'm quite satisfied with the result. I didn't put text in this time cause I thought that it looks decent just like that (plus I suck at text).
I really like this wallpaper! The colors you used are so vibrant and they work well together. It's perfect for the series becuase Ichigo always seems to be running after Rukia in one way or another.
Interesting background. I wasn't sure if it was too busy -- it seems to compete with the foreground scans. The result is that there is not clear focal point. That being said, really it has a lot of visual appeal nonetheless. Maybe a less contrast in the background might make the characters pop out more.
I really like how the background harmonizes with the dynamic poses of the characters, you get a really good sense of movement, and it's really interesting and engaging. I guess the drawback is that, you get so much energy in this image, it seems to spill out, like it doesn't feel complete, more like an action snapshot, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but I do kinda prefer self-contained wall papers.
I saw this wallpaper, I thought "that's wild", but in a good way. The scan looks great in the background. This wall paper is really quality...I think it has an intensity (in terms of the colors). It's great job :)
It has nice colors and nice background.Very nicely composed! You should've extracted a butterfly from the anime or manga an put it in there instead of that.I just love how clean the whole wallpaper looks...very crisp.
