This wallpaper gives us a perfect example of how a simple manga scan can be turned into a beautiful vector. Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.
Great, now im going psycho... it may be possible ive been spending a few hours searching for a scan that i think i saw but truly never existed... it was all in my head =.=;
I think this could have been a good wall, with more contrast, a more normal resolution, smaller sig, and with his eyes open. That's my 2 cents. But as you said, this is a test of skill, so I hope you continue to work on it to eventually make this become a great wall.
It's Aizen, what more can I ask. It's a lil' hollow perhaps to be our general wallpaper, but there's need for these walls as well. I ain't gonna say it's bad or good, it's what it is. And being grey~ish, featuring Aizen and on top of that 1920x1080 - it fits my laptop like nothing else. Looking forward to seeing more from you good sir. Especially a colored version of the above one. ^^
Just......hollow? What does that mean? That there isn't much depth to the image, so it's "hollow"? Or because Aizen controls a group of elite hollows?
In any case, it is a pretty good trace, but I will agree with some of the others in that there could've been a little more depth to the wall as a whole. I dunno, maybe if there was a little more to the picture. It feels kinda compact or something.

I have to agree with nysha, the sig is way too big and i don't like the greyish colours. Black and white would make this wall look perfect! >xD
The scan you chose is very good but the grayish colors make it look very dull. I also agree with Yina, your signature is way too big and it makes the wall look even more duller. But the wall still looks good. ^__^
