The amount of patience, hard work and an eye for quality is what defines this wallpaper. Character is painstakingly vectored off a real life toy image with references to screenshots. Despite the difficulty level, ~pvc24 still manages to nicely depict the image in anime fashion and yet able to find the mental strength to come up with a background composition that is both aptly fun and pleasant in atmosphere.
Elements = Created in Photoshop CS3: Lots of Blending options (multiply, darken), Levels, Curves, Saturation, Color Balance, and some custom pattern scan line fills that have been faded down, ect.

The stock looks nice and clean, and you've blended in the scan with it rather well.
I like the tones of colors here, and nice textures too.

And yeah..lol.. I know the 1440 is sorta low, and you nailed it obentou, I work on a laptop (mac book pro) so thats what size I used, back when I made most of these, I wasnt planning them going anywhere but on my Deaktop.. I will try to pump up the resolution on newer stuff.

VERY NICE. A pretty serious expression on Ichigo's face, especially for him not have his Shinigami gear on. The background looks fantastic and seems original enough to me. Even if the color of the background is all one shade I still really like it. This wallpaper seems to present a fresh feeling of Bleach art. Keep of the good ideas.
The background feets perfectly with the image, you really did a nice job giving that "sunset" color both to the bg and the scan.
the idea of putting ichigo in that scenario is really creative. he really does have that bad boy expression in the scan lol.
its such a cool scan, no wonder everybody has been using it
