This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
The reason why is if I make the thread, one of the other threads wont be on the main page. Only 10 can be there. The only unneeded thread was the freelancer thread. Besides, Eternal isn't a house. only a title.
Okama's artworks have something special.
Just take a look at his gallery and you'll know what I mean.
The girls in his drawings always smile and all the colors blends perfectly with them
to give a feeling of happines which is hard to find in other artist' works.
That's probably why I love Okama's art so much ^_^
About the wall:
I'm making too many "happy" walls, lately.
I need to start a grunge/dark wall before I definitely forget
how to properly make them xD

First I draw the swirl you can see in the background and then I used some stocks
(yes, they're stocks)to make the background.
Some brush work and some textures after it was finished.
Yeah, yeah, I know she's showing her panties, but the scan was just too cute
to censor them ;)

Pretty well done, the BG fits with the character composition ... i just dont like the fact that the outlines disappear on some places... but is definitly a fav+

Happy walls, psh. To be honest, I'd rather see you continue to make what you want to me. The 'happier' walls definitely balances out the more 'grungy' walls. Which is actually rather nice, considering for awhile everyone and their cousin was doing a grunge wall, not like there is anything wrong with it. Just so very nice to see something different.
I couldn't agree more about Okama's artwork. Absolutely love the colors and how happy the girls are. Just..simply brightens my day. This wallpaper does as well. Gorgeous colors and great designs = one amazing piece of art. Everything fits so nicely and neatly with the scan you'd never guess that they were separate. A wall like this really spruces things up, and that's how it found it's way onto my desktop. Excellent work, Warrior. Pssst, the little part of her panties that are showing add for a nice touch =P.
So beautfiul. Okama is one of my favorite artists so its defintely nice to some wallpapers featuring his work. The background is wonderful and I love the colors, they really fit well and blend in nicely. I could go on all day complimenting this wallpaper but instead I'll just add it to my favorites.

This is one of my favorite images from Okama, despite the panty shot ;) I just love the way the flowers make her dress, and the colors. You've done a nice job blending the scan with the bg, and though this has been on my list to wall, I wouldn't have done nearly what you've done with it. So, fav for you :)
Oh how pretty! *_* I like the color enhancement on the scan, or maybe it\'s just because of the background, but really the flowers on the dress just pop out at you like this. The flow design in the back is lovely too, with the flower pattern. And I think we could all use some more happy colorful wallpapers \\o/
