Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

well this wallpaper tooks me alot of my time because i extracted the scan and i made the background with different brushes and i changed the colors!

Well despite the fact that I don't think schoolgirls would be wearing summer uniforms with Snow falling.
I can't help but wonder if she is catching frostbite since the face looks so pale and white.
Still, I like this one because of the snow/sparkles that defiantly give it a magical feel.
They also help draw attention so the whole picture instead of just the girl.
As well as add to current winter season spirit we are now in.
The extraction could do with some work--it's quite aliased and some bits appear chopped away.
She also seems a bit anaemic (I mean she looks very white) and the scan generally appears a little desaturated. That's okay, but you have quite a strong green and brown in the bg and that therefore means they tend to pull your focus away from her face, which is sort of the opposite of what you want to be doing in a wall--focus should be on the character. You could adjust the levels a bit on the scan to pull the colour up a bit more, or alternatively flatten the greens and browns a bit to give it more balance.
The background is really good, the bright scenery makes it very good for a summer wallpaper, though the right side is a bit too bright, the right down corner looks completely white. Similar with the girl's face it looks more like a wax figure's face, than a real person's. Nice wallpaper, though.
This project just makes me want to lay back and relax...the subject...her expression...the snow flakes..its snowing here now...the 'freshness' or chloe` of the theme...very beautiful..

I think that it is expressed childish of her.
I felt the color slightly thin.
The wall paper has had better assert itself, but may have appealed to me a little more when it was this material.
