While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

This was in progress for two weeks, inspired by a beautiful but very messy scan: Snow Queen
The first thing I noticed was her nose. She had such a big nose in the original pic and I really disliked it, so I've done her a favor and made it much smaller.
Hair cut followed, she has bangs now. Also some color refreshing, adding white eyelashes and violet eye shadows.
I simply extracted her and created this background, using some filters combined with brushes.
Sorry, you know me, widescreen is advantaged, but this time it's because of her arm, which makes it so wide.

This wall is simply stunning. The colors and brushing are just amazing. You've made me so jealous :P I could never possibly create anything this stunning. I would have liked more detail with the stone pillars in the background... but then again that probably would have taken away from the stunning Snow Queen, so that's probably for the best. I absolutely love the hair... the stones circling through it are just amazing. Wonderful. Bravo! Completely adore this amazing wall.
Nice wall! I really like the angel statues and the clouds in the background. The only thing is that the smoke infront of the character doesn't seem to fit in with the clouds in the background, but that is just my opinion. But another great work by you... gah if I could only crank out walls this quality everyday...
