This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
This wallpaper was inspired by one of my sigs. It seems a little blank but when you see the full thing there's a lot more to it than you'd think. The wallpaper imo is definitely the first of its kind in this sort of style. At least from looking through all the Bleach wallpapers I didn't see anything like this. But anyway I hope you enjoy this newest work of mine as much as I enjoyed making it.
Psst there is also an alternate color version here. VV
It's simple, clean and effective. The only thing I dislike is the rectangular box depicting Rukia's eye, it kinda seems a tad random to me, but I guess it emphasizes the eye to convey loliness. Nice work though... ^^
I love how there is very minimal colors into this and how sad she looks. The title really tells what this wallpaper is about. The flying flowers are a great idea and give it more meaning I think. I love how you did this.
I love this wallpaper! It's very simple but very nice looking. I love the scan you used and I especially loved the style. It's unique, it's simple, and it's pretty. Great job! *faves*
I just love how you made this wallpaper, it is simply amazing. Not to mention the vector on this wallpaper is also nice as well. Who made it, because it looks really nice. Besides that the wallpaper and sigg almost excatly a like. Its kinda hard to see a difference between the two; however, the wallpaper is much better than the banner. Anyways keep up the good work, I can't wait to see what kind of wallpapers you create in the future.
I really like the wallpaper. Rukia does look lonely in it. The background is simple but yet makes a great impression. I like the simplicity of the background with most of it's white here. The sporadic use of the color goes along well with it. It doesn't seem overloaded on first glance and appears appealing to me.
It's really outstanding, you've got a very original idea, I've never seen a wallpaper done in this way and I must say that it's lovely, did you draw Rukia by yourself or took inspiration from some scan?
Anyway thanks for sharing, you're a wallpaper master ;)
The emotion and minimalism is wonderful. I love it. However, I do believe the picture speaks for itself without the words- as a personal opinion. 'Tis a shame that there aren't any higher resolutions... it deserves more pixels.
Those are just nitpicks, though. It really is extraordinary.
I love how you perfectly conveyed Rukia's lonliness in your use of minimalism. The hints of color throughout the wall is also a nice touch. I would also agree with a few others that the words aren't necessary. Leaving the words out would help add to the minimal atmosphere. Or perhaps placing the words in a corner would help leave the upper right hand corner open.
Ahhh~~ so looks so sad; but I think Rukia is definitely one of the prettiest on the show. This wallpaper is so clean and simple but it really exuberates her, well, I think so anyway. Great job! This wallpaper is definitely favorite status for me.
Rukia looks so beautiful, I love the effects and colors there so soft and flowing. Guess this comment is a little late but I just love this wall it's wonderful. A-
