I didnt paint the characters caeusa the idea is that they live in a colored world, but their souls are empty and lost (or something like that =_=U)

Though the characters are a bit hard for the soft style and I would like to see them better blended and slightly colored, I very appreciate this unique idea.

The concept of the characters soul being empty and lost portrayed by black and white is a 'yes' for me since if you did the opposite, which is the characters is the only colors in a mono chromic world, that would be a no no since the background would've killed my eyes.
Your background is truly awesome, it's vibrant and elegant, though I don't really like those root things on the ground surrounding the characters, but I guess they convey the emptiness, etc.
