This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Titled Sakura for lack of a better name =.=;
Its been so long since I've uploaded anything...
Anyway, about this wall. It was actually done maybe a year and a half ago. Don't know why I never uploaded it so in a way, I still haven't actually used PS except to change the date on the bottom.
Concept: juxtaposition? Nice flowering tree and contrast with some crazy, bald guy.
I took one of the gazillion manga covers for Bleach, this one featuring Ikkaku, and vectored all the basic shades. Then I overlayed the original scan back over the vector to 'smooth' it out a bit.
Petals are from Yina's Rukia desktop she made a long time ago...or was it? lol I can't remember anyhow.
Clouds are my most favourite thing cause when I make them, I feel most artist-ly...
I'm so sad. xD

Wonderful wallpaper...i really love the image you chose to use for this work...the whole work is very clean and the colours are vivid...this anime is simply awesome...my compliments...very good job ^_^
Wow really nice ikkaku wallpaper. Like how you made his spear into a cherry blossom tree, very creative. Also like the nice vibrant colours as well. Good job and keep up the good work, hope to see some more great work from you soon. Definitely adding this wallpaper to my favorites for sure.
I was wondering already why there're Sakura petals & the tree are in the background with Ikkaku going rampant in the front. ^^;; Well, after I've read your description it made sense - there was no connection at all and I had to laugh. ^_^ Either way, it turned out to be a nice wallpaper and after looking at it for a while, the pink with the bald guy doesn't seem so 'abnormal' and kind of seems to go along well. Maybe I'm just going bonkers because I worked almost 19h without having sleep or a longer break. :) Nice wallpaper! Thanks so much for sharing.

vry good job
but i would rather like A female character
with the sakuras to look nice but its a nice
idea, GOOD JOB!
And if you could why not try a
female character with sakuras in
the same angle right! Try IT!
I also like the way you placed everything, nice and neat. great job :)
