This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
It wasn't easy, because the screenshot is not in a good quality.
Half of my vector was done without the help of the screenshot.
But I managed to finish it!
It took me about 16 hours.
There are 80 to 90 layers.
The PSD file is about 160mb... >_>
Patterns are from deviantART (can't remember their name), Photoshop and me.
Brush are from.. Photoshop! \o/
Nice concept. This series kinda went weird, so much dark pasts... Well back to the wallpaper, the vector looks nice from what I can see, since I can't really full view anymore for today since I've reached my limit, it seems to have tonal shading, nice. But I can't really say that a wallpaper with just legs would be adequate enough for me.
Looks good for the most part, but i would HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY suggest adding textures to the bottom of her shoes, and on the laces of his shoes, and a subtle one on his shoe toe perhaps. ALSO, if you really want me to get down into it your lighting is all out of whack. DIffrent light sources doing diffrent things perhaps? And if they are diff. why are they all the highlighted white color. Anyway, i really like the idea and its looks pretty smooth :) Just some light error and a suggestion of texture use here :) GJ!
I like this wall. Very nice perspective and concept. But something is a little bit to clean and polished about the ground and the shadow. And there are awkwardly no snow on the ground. I think...even if the snow suddely fall, there should be a little on the ground already. But overall, this is a nice piece and I like it.

It's Nice Wallpaper.
The Kiss Scene without Faces in This Wallpaper is Really Really Unique and Creative.
Female Character's Short-Jumping Feet Express Her Love in Kiss Very Well.
Dim Focus and Soft Effects in Strong Colors are Harmonized with One Another. It's Beautiful Combination.
I Think the White Points of Snow are Charming Points in the Background.
Thanks for Your Good Work.
.....I can understand how a kiss is going on above with that leg pose, but I still feel it's too vauge to warrant the title "Snow Kiss". It's an approach I haven't seen before, which is good, but I'm not so sure it's an approach that works.

It's pretty nice but i would have liked to see the kiss more than the legs...
Any case lame comments aside, it's pretty good. The color is a tad too dull for me but since it's like night time, so can't really complain about that.

User Comments!
The vector would be better with varying line-widths, maybe not look so flat, but it isnt bad. :)
We Want Widescreen!

Good work and good wallpaper ^^
Like I said, I love the way you used the textures.
Snow would look better if drawn with a special brush, though.
Anyway, great work!;)
