This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Another one of the wallpapers that i have made and wanted to delete it..
but it thought it would be a waste so i decided to upload it here so that like everyone could see it and stuffs..
it was made during the same time i made the No Regrets wallpaper...
yeaa.. during the time which i was exploring more or adobe photoshop..
so here i am.. posting this wallpaper of black lagoon.. lol..
when i refounded the psd file in my folder i removed the photoframes that used to be there yea.. since i was thinking like.. since.. you know.. revy is like coooll.. it doesn't really suit the character so yea.. [ but in the end i reput it =D ]
the background is a stock image which i filtered and overlayed quite alot of abstract brushes over it so that it would not look so.. well.. plain..
than i also put some grungy brushes around here and there since the wallpaper was like.. kinda plain..
and ended up the final look with an overlayed well.. red fill to give the whole wallpaper a roaring glory feeling.. you know.. roaring should be a fierce color which should be red.. lol RAWWRR~

Rawr. I like your work on Revy, though I don't really like the 'noise'. The background colors are nice, but the whole composition is a bit vague. Anyway, it's a Black Lagoon wall, so it's cool.

Good stuff. Color scheme is awesome. Nice fonts. Background sky is a bit too dirty though. Making it look like low color with no dithering is nice, a bit of texture is nice, but now with both together is a bit much.
Nice wall paper of Revy you have here... has a real escape from LA look to it with the background... the colours and explosions look awesome... the image of Revy looks well extracted and filtered... thank you for sharing this wallpaper with us... keep up the excellent work... hope to see more! :D :X

Great work! The colors go together really well. Looks like you put a lot of work into the brushwork in the background, and it really paid off. Looks great.
