This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
i was out for 5 months ... omg
well i've gotten sick of vectoring , vectoring pictures that already looks cool... like almost all the scans in the scan gallery and other stuffs... im just tired of copying ... well this one is probably the last time i make a picture with a ready lineart which is not made by me ... anyway i started this at least 4 months ago than got lazy , than started again , and suddenly the psd was 4 months old haha time goes fast! this is the manga page which was colored , i used another manga page for the snake's head but i cant find it ...
ps cs2 than cs3 was used ...
oh yes ... anyone who has ever seen that stock texture in the background and know who made it please tell me! thanks =)
also : the writer of those nice black kanjis is the famous woodblock artist Katsushika Hokusai (scanned them from a book xD )
the red ones are random (and its not blood! or it doesnt meant to be blood ... they are just red , wrote with red ink maybe) anyway dunno what all kanji mean but probably nothing =)
you can crop it if you want 5:4 or 4:3 version , sorry there is no other version
hope you like it =)
see ya
okay since everyone said the wood sucks i uploaded it without it , also removed the red kanjis cuz they didnt looked cool without the wood ... WOODLESS
Holy cow! I'm not really a Sasuke fan, but this wallpaper is fantastic. I love the way you colored the scan, and how you included the snake and the clouds of dust. The kanji, texture, and torn-paper look on top of wood just makes it even cooler. You did an excellent job. Love it!

Wow! - I mean - WoW!
You had a hard amount of work here, indeed... That makes you Wall shine even more.
Awesome work! I loved the creativity (great, original idea), the colors and textures you used... And the skilled, detailed way you colored the Manga scan...
Hmm, by the way... A "C" grade.....? I want to see it raised up next time I came to this page. hehehee
Congratulations!

Wow, I really appreciate this wall! OO There weren't much walls here that caught my attention lately. But this wall is just awesome! Great job that deserves a fave!
This wall is nice, except for that awful, pixellated wood in the very background. @_@
It could be so much better with either a better stock image of wood or something else.
The rest is nice. ^^
Even if I don't really like how the wooden background is with the piece of parchment, I have to say that the rest looks totally awesome! The coloring and the background are done is a really nice way!
Keep up the good work!
i love your drawing xD and i especially love the dust clouds around his feet and the snake. that's gotta be the best part nice find with the black kanji xD Also love the texture used on the actual canvas xD
and yes...i'm sorry to say that wood bg is quite eye soring ^_^" but nvm =] the nice art in the middle makes up for it xD nice work ^_^

Awesome coloring and background! I really like it!
I'm liking less the background integration (wood and parchment), but the total result is still a very pleasant one! I also like the writings used on the parchment!
Keep up the good work!
Wow really hot wall sasuke never looked soOo cool plus the added snake is very interesting...this wall probably took you a while...i really appreciate it thx

Awesome work on the image itself =]...me i just got tired of vectoring coz it's tedious and involve so much work that you tend to halfass your BG which is what we should focus in coz it's the "original" part in our wall.
i'm ignorant of anything about naruto haven't seen nor read it xD dunno who this character is but the way you colored and added that snake behind him is really cool =D
my only gripe is that the parchment looks like it's floating and it's hard...like a sheet of metal or something...
At last! Someone has done something different with Sasuke. I've seen the same images being used all over the place, and while some have certainly been done well, this one ranks with the best because of sheer originality. Great job!
