This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
i was out for 5 months ... omg
well i've gotten sick of vectoring , vectoring pictures that already looks cool... like almost all the scans in the scan gallery and other stuffs... im just tired of copying ... well this one is probably the last time i make a picture with a ready lineart which is not made by me ... anyway i started this at least 4 months ago than got lazy , than started again , and suddenly the psd was 4 months old haha time goes fast! this is the manga page which was colored , i used another manga page for the snake's head but i cant find it ...
ps cs2 than cs3 was used ...
oh yes ... anyone who has ever seen that stock texture in the background and know who made it please tell me! thanks =)
also : the writer of those nice black kanjis is the famous woodblock artist Katsushika Hokusai (scanned them from a book xD )
the red ones are random (and its not blood! or it doesnt meant to be blood ... they are just red , wrote with red ink maybe) anyway dunno what all kanji mean but probably nothing =)
you can crop it if you want 5:4 or 4:3 version , sorry there is no other version

love the way you colored the clothes, and adding the snake adds to sasuke's image of evil
he seems a bit to far away but, the pic still looks wonderful, fave for sure
Wow nice, the mood it gives off fits Sasuke perfectly.
But the "scroll" or whatever does blend in too well, it does not look like it is lying on the wooden wall/table.
Really great work. i like the style of the drawing you used as your stock image. much more mature looking than all the sasuke images out there. i also like what you did with the coloring of the manga, looks almost like water coloring. well this is just a great naruto wallpaper. almost gave up on really original naruto wallpapers. fantastic job and thank you for sharing.
Great wall, but I would have really preferred it if the picture in the parchment were to have covered the whole wall, excluding the whole parchment and wood BG idea. However, that doesn't mean that the black and red kanjis should have then be left out.
Still, that's just my unprofessional opinion and you still made a great wall regardless ^^
May I just say that this Wallpaper looks fantastic. I love the way you have Snake behind Sasuke. The paper/scroll reminds of the Basilisk anime as well which is another plus.
Well you really screwed this one up whit the background. Missing the movie for this? maaan :)
The wooden texture is just, disgusting. The first one you used four months ago was better than this, I don't know why. Probably the darker tone blended well with the whole aspect of the wp.
And I don't know wheter you checked your wall or not in full size (I'm guessing yes), but then again how could you miss those awful mistakes. The paper's edge is just funny at some places (top left or bottom left ...)
One can really see on this piece of artwork how tired you are. Tired of vectoring and all the designing stuff... so I strongly suggest you push that light wallpaper you started working on ages ago, because there is something really big going on!
