As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Title : S.H.R.A.P.N.E.L
Extra Text : Destruction And Its Souvenirs (I don't care if you can't read it. Who actually reads it anyway?)
Time : Too long. About 12 hours in between cream puffs and microwaved pork chops.

So here's the stocks I used :

They came from everywhere, ranging from google, stock xchange, and the tooth fairy.
I found the scan here in AP and decided I had to wall it. I also needed to work on my Photoshopping techniques since I hadn't really done anything in a while. This isn't one of my favorite works and I'm pretty disappointed with it, but blah... I'm sick of looking at it.

Gundam 00 is great because some of the boys in it are actually legal age, making me feel less like a pedophile for liking them... (You know you're too old when...) This is Lockon's Gundam, Dynames.

My screen resolution is 1024x768 and this is the biggest wall size I've ever made... Sorry this is not one of my best works. I feel kind of blah. At least I got practice for my next project...

awesome composition and blending...but it would've added even more to the piece if there was some muzzle flash, and maybe even motion blurring if done right?

Pretty good since you took stock photos, the Dynames scan and put it together; creating war, chaotic and dramatic aura in WP. Dynames blends perfectly into surrounding. You can make the text a bit visible in subtle way, since there is no point if you put text but too vague for anyone read it. What's make the wallpaper more dramatic is you can 'freeze' Dynames while it's firing its long-range beam rifle in the right moment; long streak of laser nearly exiting the barrel of the rifle. That's would be cool and adds the 'umph' to the WP.

I'm so shocked...the way you use those perfect pictures for this wallpaper...It's amazing!
all the effects and composition is just great! It's been awhile since the last great Gundam wallpaper I've seen...this is a masterpiece for me!

There haven't been many Gundam 00 walls that are mech based, this isn't a bad one.
It was a good job on the blending of the bg from stock photos, but i wouldnt personally use this as a wall, not sure y, its just got that feel to it.

Hello,

Simply love the dramatic mood you've created here. Very eye catching. The rich and rustic orange colors suit very well and the selection of explosions is beautiful. Action pose and clean up of the scan is very well done. This is how I like to see Gundam walls. Dark and forboding. Not happy and cheery since "War" is not beautiful. Thanks for sharing ^_^. Hope to see more like this.

Nice wall, I like the mood. However there's something missing. In my view the Gundam has too much of a "backround"-ish aspect to it, as if there was no main subject.

Nice wall - impressive putting together several pieces. The wall looks nice overall, but I would prefer a shinier, bolder look for Gundam wallpapers. The grainy feels isn't something I'm used to seeing - perhaps having to piece everything together played a role in that. There's not really much going on either, but again, that's my preference (more so than the first).

In either case, I don't know about your others works (or maybe I do and didn't read the author's name), but the wallpaper is still very nice just for the effects.

i rly like how you combined different resources, great job on that. Only thing that bugs me a bit is that you cant see the ground under the gundams feet. yeaa.. its probably cuz its fog, but i think it should be lower opacity then ;3
