This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
It's so hard to come up with titles...I've been holding on to this Revy vector (done by `MTL, thanks for the great work ^^) for a while. It's been a work in progress that went through many revisions since I wasn't too sure what to do with it O_o. Anyways, I ended up doing a kind of manga inspired action scene, speed lines and all, taking place on the Black Lagoon. Hope you guys like it ^_^!
I always say every Black Lagoon wall is a good wall, simply because BL is an absolute brilliant anime series. But anyway, your wall is actually quite nice. I really love the way you did the sky, ocean and the deck of the torpedo boat.
