This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
I suppose I should explain the title and the concept first before anyone gets confused. Basically, what you see in the center.. that ghost-like figure, is a representation of a soul. Well, if you can guess who the 'soul' belongs to, you win a prize. The walls which encapsulate this soul represent the isolation of this particular character [Sasuke if you're still guessing] from everything that is outside its boundaries. The water down the center is to signify the difficulty of traversing it. Thus, the title 'Trapped Soul.' The mountains and sky are based on a picture I obtained a while ago. I vectored this in the fashion that you see using layers to add some depth and smoothed it over a bit to obtain the background. In comparison, the foreground, with its swirls and particles were much easier to create. Well, that's about it.. I hope you enjoy the wallpaper.. I recommend viewing it fully. Hm,, i see this wall,, feel interested.. Cool idea.. but, the soul picture makes other people confused,, and maybe,, if there is no author's soapbox,, other people can't know what is it.. except they look at this a little bit long time,, like me at the first time,, haha.. XD

Those are some really eye-catching effects. The background looks nice, scenic, and peaceful. The most oustanding part must be the soul itself. I really can't find anything to complain about. Excellent work. This must be faved.
Nice ideal, I was confuse in the beginning but after the explanations I get a better picture of it. I like the sun shining on the water effect it really good. Nice wall done
Very nicely done. There's nothing bad I can comment on, it's all blended in very smoothly. Not to mention I give you props for killing off a naruto character. The dark wall into gate with the golden water is beautifuly done.
