I made this wall with the Cover of Air Gear found on Google. I love so much Akito/Agito and I wanted made a wall with him.
I wanted create a contrast with the characters and the background, suggested bye the phrase "the sky is the limit".
Sorry for the tiny resolutions, but I create this wall with small scans I’ve found on Google and only for personal use in a first time.
I don't use the scans of animepaper because after to made this wall I don't have more papers to download the scans ):
(and sorry for the english but i'm italian ): )
For the background I used a sky stock photo found on Google.
I used the texture of Tokyo.
I really like this wall! To begin with, I really like both Akito and Agito, and the scan you've used is one of my faves among all Air Gear artwork. I like too the background, looks really beautiful. You've made a great wall, very good work!! (+fav)
I like the image, the colors, and the text. I'm not too keen on the color effects, especially Agito and Akito's faces (only one shade?), and because the light one tone they look a bit washed out. The coloring technique is interesting enough (keeping the textures of the image, et cetera), but their faces could use work. Keep it up and I look forward to seeing more wallpapers from you.
Good idea putting those two together, perhaps one of the most interesting character of multiple personality in Air Gear.
I think you should put more emphasis on the two personality, maybe split the screen and make contrasting details or background to show that those two character,though the same, are different in terms of style and action. i think that the background looks a bit plain and doesn't really fit the blissful mood that the two character implies with their smile. Visually wise, I think would look nicer if you have a lighter/brighter background behind the characters.
Overall though, very nice job. Keep it up !
