This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Interesting wallpaper. XD I really love the purple colors. I think the Ying-Yang symbol would look a lot better if it didn't have the drop-shadow, though.
Jeet Kune Do? What it is?
Well, i think is i don't saw tha anime for xD
Now for the wallpaper, is very funny, good scan and good design. I like it.
Colors and effects are very good too, but i think the punch area's effect is not acerted. Lightness from the punch? What it is? A Dragon Ball's Kame Hame like? Mmm... is not for me.
Everything else is OK. Good job :)
It's Nice Wallpaper.
The Heroine in This Wallpaper is Really Really Beautiful and Impressive. Her Pose and Eyes Look Like Ready for Fight is Filed with Strong Force and Her Own Confidence.
Colors are Clean and Clear. They are Well-Match for One Another and Express Their Own Pesonality.
Arts and Details in the Background Have Wonderful Aesthetics of Straight Lines Creating Focus Point.
I Wonder What Characters and Asian Magic Prints Mean about Her. They May be Her Special Skill and Her Symbol. She is Magician and Fighter of Military Arts?
Thanks for Your Good Work.
I like what you have going here, it's a nice style and a great character!
A few personal preference suggestions:
I would try removing the arrows from the ying and yang symbol, make it larger (keep the characters also) and put it behind her with a high transparency level...almost as if the rays are coming from the symbol as well as her.
Also the glow/rays in her left hand would go, and at the same time I'd remove the glow around her in any spots that touch the black, e.g. the top of her head. While I was at it I'd remove the strips just above and blow the black.
Lastly the "Jeet Kune Do" text seems far too big to me, I'd remove it altogether or try and place it in a less conspicuous location. It (and the ying/yang symbol) detract from your background which centers the viewer on Kyou.
Don't mind my rambling though I'm just imagining what I'm just wishing I could make something as nice as you did!
Beautiful Kyo wall... she is totally awesome... Can't wait for them to do a Kyo storyline... if there is one... never played the game so I don't know much about the series except that I really like it.... thanks for sharing... keep up the great work... hope to see some more! :D:D
