As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!
Everytime I listen to Long dream, it reminds me of Shiki . Maybe that could be her theme song (?). Oh, and don't forget "Transformers". That song really reminds me of Beat. (the remix of the song also remids me of Linkin Park for some unknown reason).
@BCB Enough to have the gist of you two minxes, but nothing deeper. @$Sashi How are you tonight? @~Loleta So catchy, I always loved it. Leah is great! Long Dream is great too.
This is the first time I've ever submitted any paper to AP~ mostly because i'm not very confident in my Photoshop Skills; but I worked alot on this one, so I thought I'd at least get it to Session Zero.
The backround design~ I googled "Victorian designs" and I vectored some scans from a really old book of some sortO.o
There is 1 brush I used thats not mine... its from Deviant Art I believe~ but tutorial I found it in did not give direct credit to the creatorX_x
The text and colors I'm still unsure about~
I feel like there needed to be some text or it would be too empty~
Does it look fine as is? or does it need something else? Like around the text? and by Hayate?
Also... the line at the bottom was becuase I didn't keep a buffer zone for the Start bar in mind when making it~ If Hayate goes down there it really detracts from the wallpaper~ I'm not sure what to do to fix itXD
Anyways:
Hours: O.o... Alot... over 1 month's time on and off
Layers: Well... because I don't know how to make vectors all go on one layer... well over 400XD But by normal standards about 25 layers.
